The Shetland Sheepdog Club of Houston sponsors an education day filled with informative topics and fun activities for the public and club members. Topics vary each year and have included such things as:
Each year we include a puppy match and either rally or obedience run thru, CGC Testing and Tricks Testing, so we have events of interest to both conformation and performance attendees.
Attendees are welcome to bring their shelties to the event for a fun day of learning, socialization, and activities.
- health and medical care
- evaluating a dog,
- conditioning and exercise,
- puppy testing,
- raising puppies,
- care and maintenance (brushing, nails, teeth, etc.)
